\nPLASMA BIOLOGICAL INDICATOR

\nRELATED STANDARDS :4A Medical Plasma Biological Indicator is under the scope of ISO 11138 standard.
\nSTORAGE AND DISPOSAL :Store it in a dark place at temperatures between 15-30\u00b0C. , 35-60% relative
\nhumidity. Do not freeze. Do not store these biological indicator near sterilizing
\nagents or other chemical products.
\nCOMPOSITION: Each tube contains a population of Geobacillus sterothermophilus ATCC 7953
\nspores deposited on the inner surface of the plastic tube base. It also has a
\ngrowth indicator media of purple color contained in the glass ampule.
\nPACKAGING 100 pcs in box.
\nINTENDED USE :Biological Indicator is specifically designed for the monitoring of Hydrogen
\nPeroxide sterilization processes. If the sterilization process was not succesful, the
\nindicator media will change from purple to yellow after incubation at 60+\/- 2 \u00b0C
\n, thus indicating the presence of live Geobacillus sterothermophilus spores.
\nIncubate the processed biological indicator and the indicator used as positive
\ncontrol for a maximum of 24 hours at 60+\/- 2 \u00b0C. A color change from purple to
\nyellow of the growth indicator media means a sterilization process failure has
\noccurred. If after 24hours there is no color change in the processed indicators , a
\nfinal negative result is made (the sterilization process was acceptable). The
\npositive control indicator should show a yellow color change for the results to be
\nvalid.
\nOPERATION CONDITIONS: If the sterilization process was succesful, the indicator media will remain purple
\nafter incubation.The final readout should be made after 24hours of incubation at
\n60+\/- 2 \u00b0C.
